Lauren Tennenbaum is a second-year graduate student in Drexel University's Interior Architecture and Design program. She completed her BA at Vassar College, where she majored in Cognitive Science and Art History.
After graduating Vassar, she worked as an artist, stylist, and decorative painter; her work has been published and exhibited internationally, and her accessories have graced the feet of Lady Gaga and pages of Vogue Italia.
However, a love for and interest in interiors and the way people live is nothing new for Lauren: as a very eager 20 year old, she attended an Architectural Digest Open Call, where she was selected as a finalist for publication.   It goes even farther back than that: if you meet her mother, she will probably tell you the story of Lauren visiting Vizcaya at age 5 and wanting postcards of the drapes.  (To which she says: they are still fabulous!)
Her approach to style has always been holistic.  She believes that interiors, lifestyles, and experiences are inextricably intertwined. Interwoven fashion sensibilities, and references to art, art history, and cinema are consistent in her work, as is an affection for gardens and planted spaces.
